Location
Located in the tourist centre of Puerto del Carmen, Relaxia Lanzaplaya is very close to Playa Grande, a spectacular golden sand beach in the south of Lanzarote. Playa Grande is the most famous beach in the area and the whole life of Puerto del Carmen revolves around it. Its fine sand, crystal-clear waters and impressive views of the Los Ajaches volcano, declared a Natural Monument, make it the perfect place for long walks and enjoying your holidays. Spanning just a little over a kilometre in length, it has all kinds of services and is even accessible for people with reduced mobility.
Avenida de las playas
Relaxia Lanzaplaya is situated just a few metres from the beach, on the bustling and lively Avenida de Las Playas, a beautiful seafront promenade full of commercial activity, nightlife and a wide range of restaurants. And if you like to go cycling, you can do so as there is a cycle path that runs along the entire promenade. In addition, Puerto del Carmen is one of the best areas in Lanzarote for water sports. If you want to go sailing, you will find a wide range of pleasure boats at the El Varadero sports dock.
Beaches of dreams
Puerto del Carmen is the ideal enclave for sea lovers, as it has eight kilometres of spectacular beaches. Playa Grande, the most popular and longest; Playa Chica, a small cove of golden sand, perfect for families due to its tranquillity and being one of the main diving centres on the island due to the richness and beauty of its seabed; and Playa de los Pocillos, with calm and clear waters and its characteristic ‘pocillos’, small pools of water in the sand that mimic swimming pools, which will delight little ones.
